Ian was born and raised in the Ottawa Valley and returned to work in the area upon graduating with a degree in physiotherapy from the University of Western Ontario.
Ian has worked in a variety of practice settings including private clinic, Canadian Armed Forces, hospital and community care. Working in each of these settings, Ian has gathered valuable experience, and knowledge to treat all variety of populations and pathologies.
Ian strives to keep his knowledge base up to date and has taken many post-graduate courses focusing on spinal conditions (low back, mid back and neck) and extremities using the Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment Technique (McKenzie Method). Ian also employs the skills acquired by taking Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Running Analysis and Treatment, and Mulligan Technique courses to name a few.
Along with his wife, 2 children and their dog Gnarly, the Costello family enjoy being active and outdoors. Personal interests of Ian are playing music, riding his motorcycle, cycling and sports of all kinds.
